(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 28-year-old Jamestown resident, was apprehended by Jamestown Police on Jan. 11, 2024 at 3:43 PM during a routine warrant check at an East Side address.

Anthony M. Spitale, 28, was taken into custody by Jamestown Police on January 11, 2024, after officers responded to a warrant check at an East Side address. The arrest was made on the grounds of an active Bench Warrant from Jamestown City Court. During the arrest, law enforcement allegedly discovered and seized a quantity of methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with drug paraphernalia in Spitale’s possession. He faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (2 counts) and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree (2 counts), in addition to the existing Bench Warrant. Spitale is currently held pending his arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

The arrest was executed without incident, and Spitale was transported to City Jail for further proceedings.
