(WNY News Now) – Mayville, NY – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a well-being check in the Village of Mayville on Jan. 10, 2024. The situation escalated as they discovered an altercation involving a 38-year-old man and another individual.
Deputies were prompted to check the well-being of Mayville resident Brian J. Little on January 10, 2024. Following discussions with Little, a further investigation revealed an alleged altercation with another individual, leading to Little’s arrest on charges of Attempted Assault 3rd. The 38-year-old was promptly transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for CAP Arraignment. The incident remains under investigation, and additional details will be released as the case unfolds.
