(WNY News Now) – A 29-year-old Jamestown resident is held pending arraignment on two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree following a vehicle search by the Jamestown Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit.

At 11:26 p.m. on 1/11/24, officers observed a suspicious vehicle at 43 River St. Occupied by Samantha K. Wilson, a passenger in the vehicle, officers conducted a search and discovered a quantity of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine in her possession. Wilson was promptly taken into custody and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession in the 7th Degree. Transported to Jamestown City Jail, she awaits arraignment in Jamestown City Court on a later date. The incident underscores law enforcement’s vigilance in addressing drug-related offenses within the community.
