(WNY News Now) – A 37 year old Dunkirk man was arrested for Petit Larceny at a Pomfret gas station after a shoplifting incident, responding to a call from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Fredonia Police Department.

On January 15, 2024, at 02:00, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Fredonia Police Department responded to a local gas station in Pomfret for an ongoing shoplifting incident. Andrew Seelbinder, 37, of Dunkirk, was identified as the suspect and found in possession of numerous items. Seelbinder was arrested for Petit Larceny and later released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Pomfret court at a later date.
