(WNY News Now) – A 25 year old woman has been arrested and charged with Manslaughter following a fatal collision at N. Salina Street and Catawba Street on January 20, 2024.

(Syracuse) – On Saturday, around 2:21 A.M., a collision occurred at N. Salina Street and Catawba Street. Investigation revealed a vehicle driven by Takisha Hordge ran a red light, colliding with another vehicle. The collision resulted in serious injuries to all parties. Unfortunately, a 59-year-old female passenger succumbed to her injuries. Hordge, found to be under the influence, faces charges including Manslaughter, Vehicular Manslaughter, Assault, DWI, and more. Arrested and under hospital watch, she will be lodged at the Justice Center upon discharge. The Syracuse Police Department Traffic Section continues the investigation.
