(WNY News Now) – A 33 year old Jamestown man who was arrested for shoplifting at Big Lots led officers on a pursuit before being apprehended.
On January 20, 2024, at 12:15 PM, officers responded to a shoplifting incident at Big Lots. The suspect, Jacob S. Carr, fled but was tracked down by the 1st Platoon officers. Carr was arrested for petit larceny and an unrelated warrant. All stolen items were recovered and returned to the store. Carr is held at the Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
