(WNY News Now) – A 32 year old Jamestown man is facing charges of Criminal Contempt 2nd after a street check in Jamestown.
On January 22, 2024, at 04:58 AM, officers from the 3rd platoon conducted a street check on two suspicious subjects at Newland Ave and Hazzard St. The investigation revealed that Brandon Vangiesen was violating an order of protection involving one of the subjects. Vangiesen was taken into custody without incident and transported to the city jail. He is charged with Criminal Contempt in the second degree and is held pending arraignment.
