(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 38-year-old Jamestown man was apprehended on February 5, 2024, by officers patrolling English St and Barrows St. Mays faces charges of Bench Warrants and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
In a routine patrol on February 5, 2024, at 7:27 pm, Jamestown officers apprehended Jonathan L. Mays, 39, attempting to evade them while pushing a dirt bike near English St and Barrows St. Subsequent identification revealed active bench warrants, leading to Mays’ arrest. A search revealed Mays was carrying a quantity of cocaine. He is currently held in Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court on charges of Bench Warrants and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
