(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – In a coordinated effort on February 16th, 2024, law enforcement agencies executed search warrants at 850 Prendergast Avenue and 854 Prendergast Avenue Lower Apartment, resulting in the arrest of a Jamestown man and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal substances.
At approximately 12:00 noon, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, in collaboration with the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team, carried out a search warrant at 850 Prendergast Avenue. During the operation, Ramon L. Nieves Fagot was found inside the residence by the SWAT Team. Subsequent to securing the premises, detectives discovered and confiscated 93 individually packaged baggies of fentanyl, 18 vials of cocaine, 30 Tramadol Hydrochloride pills, and $339.00.
Ramon L. Nieves Fagot was promptly arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is now facing charges that include two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, and one count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree. His current status is being held pending arraignment in the Jamestown City Court.
Simultaneously, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at 854 Prendergast Avenue Lower Apartment, with assistance from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team. Although the residence was unoccupied at the time, charges are pending.
The successful operation was a result of collaboration between the Jamestown Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Chautauqua County Emergency Services Tac Meds, and Jamestown Fire Department.
