(WNY News Now) – A 38-year-old male from Dunkirk was arrested and charged following an altercation in the Town of Sheridan on February 25th.

Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance report on Rt 20 in Dunkirk at approximately 4:27 pm. Allegedly, the male damaged property, endangered the welfare of two children, and physically assaulted another individual. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Endangering the Welfare of a Child (two counts), and Harassment in the Second Degree. The suspect was taken into custody and processed at the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office before being transported to Chautauqua County Jail for further proceedings.
