(WNY News Now) – In a joint operation, Jamestown Police and K9 unit arrested a 50-year old resident at 7-Eleven (1011 E. 2nd St.) at 1:45 AM on Feb. 24, 2024 for attempting to use fake US currency.

Shana R. Workman faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree. Responding to the scene, officers discovered Workman in possession of 31.2 grams of a Fentanyl and Heroin compound during a search incident to arrest. Workman was arrested and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
