(WNY News Now) – A 41-year old Buffalo man faces serious charges, including 1st-degree burglary, 3rd-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, and endangering the welfare of a child, following an altercation on the Northside of Jamestown.

On Feb. 27, 2024, around 1:50 A.M., Jamestown Police officers from the 3rd platoon responded to a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Demario D. McBride had allegedly unlawfully entered a residence, assaulting and choking a victim in the presence of a child under 17. McBride was promptly taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.

The charges against McBride include Burglary in the 1st degree, Assault in the 3rd degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The case is set to be addressed in Jamestown City Court.
