(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – In a recent incident on Feb. 28, 2024 at 4:40pm, Jamestown Police 2nd Platoon responded to a South Side address following a reported domestic dispute.
Officers discovered that 23-year-old Jamestown City resident, Maria K. Covert, was allegedly in violation of a full stay-away order of protection with the victim. Covert was promptly taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
She now faces charges of Criminal Contempt 1st and is being held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
