(WNY News Now) – WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a decision met with both support and criticism, an Illinois judge has ruled to exclude former President Donald Trump from the state’s ballot. The court cited Trump’s alleged involvement in the Capitol insurrection as grounds for removal.
Congressman Nick Langworthy issued the following statement after an Illinois judge removed President Trump from the ballot in the state:
“The court decision to remove President Trump from the ballot in Illinois is another blatant example of activist judges interfering in our presidential election and stealing the choice from the American people. They will do anything to stop President Trump from going back to Washington to reverse their radical and woke policies. The American people see right through this abuse of power.”
