(WNY News Now) – In a collaborative effort, Jamestown Police Department and NYS Parole successfully apprehended a 33-year-old male on charges related to drug and weapon offenses during a routine home check on the Eastside.
On February 27, 2024, at 8:14 AM, Jamestown Police Officers responded to an Eastside address to assist NYS Parole as part of a GIVE Detail. The joint operation aimed at conducting a routine home check led to the discovery of Terry L. Kendall inside the residence.
Upon contact, officers found Kendall in possession of a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun. The arrest was carried out smoothly, with Kendall taken into custody without incident. Subsequent search inside the residence unveiled 28.1 grams of crack cocaine, multiple digital scales, a sum of U.S. Currency, and 10.0 grams of an unidentified substance designed for the dilution of narcotics or stimulants.
Terry L. Kendall is currently held in Jamestown City Jail, awaiting arraignment on charges including (2x) Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, (2x) Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree. The case is set to proceed in Jamestown City Court.
