(WNY News Now) – In an incident unfolding on March 2, 2024 at 12:30 pm at an East Side residence, a 50-year-old Jamestown resident, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd after allegedly violating a stay-away order of protection against a female victim.

Jamestown City officers, responding to a reported Domestic Dispute, discovered that Jonathan H. Edwards allegedly had repeatedly breached the order by opening the victim’s apartment door. Swift action led to his arrest without incident, and he was held pending arraignment at the Jamestown City Court.
