(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk, NY – Dunkirk Police and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conclude a long-term narcotics investigation resulting in the arrest of two local residents, seizing significant amounts of cocaine, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

A joint effort by Dunkirk Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators culminated in the arrest of Malvin J. Berrios (29) and Carla Y. Andujar-Rosado (33) in Dunkirk, NY, on March 1, 2024. The investigation led to a traffic stop on Doughty St., resulting in the seizure of cocaine and crack cocaine from the vehicle. Subsequent execution of search warrants at 77 7th St. Lower Apt. and 217 Townsend St. Upper Apt. yielded 41.07 grams of cocaine, 16.26 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and $2423.00 in cash. Berrios faces multiple charges, including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and 4th degrees, while Andujar-Rosado faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree. Both were arraigned at the Dunkirk City Court.
