(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A physical domestic dispute between two Jamestown residents, resulted in their arrest on charges of Criminal Contempt 2nd and Criminal Mischief 4th. The incident occurred on March 10, 2024 at 2:30 pm at a Northside residence.
On March 10, 2024, at approximately 2:30 pm, officers from the first platoon responded to a Northside residence following reports of a physical domestic dispute involving Karen M Danson and Andrew J Cooley.
Upon arrival and subsequent investigation, it was discovered that Danson and Cooley, both aged 37 and 35 respectively, had allegedly engaged in a heated altercation resulting in the destruction of each other’s prescription glasses. Further complicating the situation, it was revealed that both individuals held valid orders of protection against one another.
Law enforcement promptly took both subjects into custody without incident and transported them to the Jamestown City Jail. The charges filed against them include Criminal Contempt 2nd and Criminal Mischief 4th. As of now, both Danson and Cooley are being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
