(WNY News Now) – In the early hours of March 10, 2024, a routine response to an unwanted person call on Allen St. in Jamestown escalated into a narcotics investigation, resulting in the arrest of a 34-year-old Jamestown man.

At approximately 3:01 A.M., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd platoon responded to a disturbance at 310 Allen St., where Jacob S. Carr was identified as one of the unwanted individuals. Upon confirming an active arrest warrant for Carr within the city, officers took him into custody.

A subsequent search incident to arrest allegedly uncovered separate packages containing Fentanyl and Methamphetamine on Carr’s person. The charges brought against Carr include an arrest warrant and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, with two counts of the latter.


Jacob S. Carr is currently being held at the Jamestown City Jail, pending arraignment at the Jamestown City Court.
