(WNY News Now) – Sheridan, NY – A two-vehicle property damage accident in Sheridan on March 14th, 2024, led to the arrest of a 63-year-old male for allegedly driving while intoxicated (DWI), according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the accident scene at approximately 4:23 PM, where Carter was found to be intoxicated, allegedly causing the collision. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with aggravated DWI, along with failure to yield right of way when entering a roadway. Carter was released with tickets to appear in the Town of Sheridan Court at a later date to address the charges.
