Victor V. Smith, aged 36 and residing at 641 Delaware Ave, Olean, NY 14760, was arrested by Olean PD at 101 E State Street, Olean, NY 14760, on a direct deposit warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. The arrest, carried out on April 2nd, 2024, at approximately 8:54 PM, was made by Patrol officers and involved assistance from Olean PD. Smith was processed and subsequently conveyed to Cattaraugus County Jail. He faces charges under CPL 530.70 (06) and will await further court proceedings in the Town of Olean.
