(WNY News Now) – In an effort to help our furry friends find their fur-ever home, WNY News Now has partnered with the Chautauqua County Humane Society in a segment we like to call Pet of The Week. This week’s pet of the week is Remy.

“Hi Lee. We are in Purr-adise, the cat colony here at the Chautauqua County Humane Society and this is Remy. Remy is two years old and she is looking for her forever home. Look at that yawn. And she has been spayed. She’s up to date on her vaccinations. She’s showing you how she loves to bathe. She has a microchip. Yes, you do, don’t you? And she is waiting, like I said, to go home.”

“So if you you would like to come meet Remy, come meet her at 2825 Strunk Road here at the Chautauqua County Humane Society. We’re open today from 1 to 5:30; tomorrow, 11 to 3. And to meet this beautiful little two-year-old, she does get along with other cats, ’cause she’s in here in the colony, purr-adise with other cats, and she would love a family. So find out more about her, CHQ.org, or again, stop in today. Thank you, Lee, for having us on Western New York News Now, and we’re going to bathe out here.”
