lan S. Griffith, a 33-year-old Jamestown resident, has been detained following a domestic incident involving criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation and unlawful imprisonment.
On April 7, 2024, at around 8:44 PM, Jamestown City Police responded to a distress call from an east side location. Officers arrived at the scene to find Dylan S. Griffith and a female victim present. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Griffith had applied pressure to the victim’s neck and prevented her from leaving the premises.
As a result of these actions, Griffith was promptly taken into custody without resistance. He faces charges of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood Circulation and Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree. Currently, Griffith remains in custody pending his arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
