On April 12, 2024, Randall K. Mesler, Stephen H. Cassidy, and Christopher S. Haberberger, all residents of Jamestown, were arrested following a traffic stop on Huxley St. near Front St.
During the stop at around 8:05 p.m., Jamestown Police officers discovered methamphetamine and a billy club in possession of Mesler, Cassidy, and Haberberger. Cassidy was also found with fentanyl. Due to prior convictions and possession of the weapon, they face charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree. Mesler and Haberberger also face charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, while Cassidy faces two counts. Cassidy and Haberberger had outstanding warrants as well. The trio awaits arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
