(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – On April 18th, 2024, a 42-year-old male from Falconer NY, was arrested by Jamestown Police on E. 2nd St. for an active warrant and possession of methamphetamine.
Rudy J. Damonti was apprehended by officers of the Jamestown Police department’s 2nd platoon while walking on E. 2nd St. during the evening of April 18th, 2024. Police were acting on prior knowledge of an outstanding warrant for Damonti’s arrest. The 42-year-old was taken into custody without resistance. Upon further investigation, officers allegedly discovered Damonti in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. He is currently being held in Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree. The case is to be processed in Jamestown City Court.
