Daniel J. Villa, 27, of Center St. Randolph, was arrested after allegedly brandishing a CO2-powered pellet gun resembling a handgun on Main Street, Randolph.

Villa’s arrest followed reports of a male displaying what appeared to be a handgun. Upon encountering law enforcement, Villa failed to comply with orders, leading to resistance during his arrest. Subsequent investigation revealed the weapon as a .177 caliber pellet gun. Villa falsely claimed to be a police officer during the incident. He faces charges including Menacing in the Second Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Impersonation. Villa was processed and released pending a court appearance at Randolph Court.
