(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 40-year-old Jamestown resident, faces charges of Criminal Trespass, Harassment, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance following an alleged incident on the north side of the city on April 24th.
On the evening of April 24th, law enforcement responded to reports of a potential burglary in progress at a residence located on the north side of the city. Upon arrival, officers were informed by the victim that an unauthorized male had entered the premises, demanding money. The victim, successfully repelling the intruder, identified him as Anthony M. Camarata and provided a physical description to the officers.
Subsequently, law enforcement officers located Camarata in the vicinity and took him into custody. During the arrest, a quantity of methamphetamine was allegedly discovered on Camarata’s person. He was promptly transported to the city jail, where he remains held pending arraignment on charges including Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree, Harassment 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
