(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk, NY – The City of Dunkirk Festivals and Special Events department is gearing up for the Annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27, with various sponsors joining hands to commemorate the occasion.

The Annual Memorial Day Parade, a cherished tradition in downtown Dunkirk, is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 27. Sponsored by notable entities including DFT Communications, Dunkirk Exempts Firemen, and the WWII Vets Club, the parade holds special significance as a tribute to veterans. Commencing at 11 a.m., the procession will journey down Central Avenue to Washington Park, following a memorial service in Memorial Park starting at 10 a.m. organized by the Dunkirk Joint Veterans Council.
