(WNY News Now) – A 39-year-old Frewsburg, NY, man was apprehended by law enforcement following a reported incident of property damage in the Town of Kiantone, NY, on May 5th, 2024.

Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Town of Ellicott Police Department, responded to a complaint of criminal mischief on Martin Rd, Jamestown, around 8:23 pm. Investigation revealed that Jason A. Genberg, 39, had allegedly vandalized another individual’s property by forcibly entering a door.

Genberg was subsequently arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Following his arrest, he was taken into custody by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing before being transferred to the Chautauqua County Jail.
