(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, N.Y. – At Audubon Community Nature Center’s Fairy Door Workshop you can create an enchanting fairy door just in time for the start of garden season.
In this drop-in workshop on Saturday, May 18, 1–3:30 p.m., you can make a fantastic creation.
Whether you put it on your windowsill or in your garden, a magical doorway to another world will add whimsy and delight to your spring space. In this workshop, you will receive all the materials needed to make your fairy door, including the wooden cut-out, natural materials, non-toxic additions, paint, brushes, and accessories.
Allow a minimum of one hour to complete your project, arriving no later than 2:30 p.m., and be sure to wear clothing you wouldn’t mind getting paint and glue on.
The fee is $16 for adults, $12 for children ages 9–15 and Nature Center members. Additional $8 per kit.
Enrollment is limited. Walk-ins are accepted if there is room.
To make your paid reservations required by Wednesday, May 15, call (716) 569-2345 during business hours or go to AudubonCNC.org and click through Programs and Events.
Extra fairy door kits are available in the Blue Heron Gift Shop the day of the workshop for $12.50 if you would like more.
