(WNY News Now) -Town of Ellery – Deputies apprehend a local man for possession of methamphetamine after a routine traffic stop on Dutch Hollow Rd in the Town of Ellery.

In a routine traffic stop scenario turned narcotics bust, deputies intercepted Gary L. Hannold III on Wednesday, May 15th, around 9:25 am, on Dutch Hollow Rd in the Town of Ellery. Initially pulled over for operating without an inspection sticker, Hannold III’s encounter with law enforcement took a grave turn when deputies discovered his NYS driver’s license allegedly was suspended.

A subsequent investigation by authorities uncovered a startling find: Hannold III was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, a controlled substance. Consequently, he faced a trifecta of charges including operating an uninspected motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, and possession of a controlled substance 7th.
