A garage fire in Falconer early Tuesday morning prompted a swift response and an investigation into its cause.
On May 21, 2024, at 3:25 AM, a fire broke out in the garage of a residence at 2 Waldemeere Ave, Falconer. The Falconer Fire Department, along with mutual aid, quickly responded to the scene. The Sheriff’s Fire Investigation team was called in to determine the fire’s origin. Investigators concluded that the fire was caused by an overheated electric multi-strip within the garage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The affected family is receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
