“I Bleed Buffalo” Merchandise to Raise Money for Lou Gehrig’s Disease
Rudy Pikuzinski, a Buffalo Hall of Fame soccer star, has launched a new charity in honor of his late brother, Richie Pikuzinski, who passed away from ALS on July 11, 2011. The initiative, supported by Buff-a-logo.com, aims to raise funds and awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, through the sale of “I Bleed Buffalo” merchandise.
Richie Pikuzinski was a dedicated guidance counselor and principal at the Stanley F. Falk School, known for his commitment to helping children with special learning, social, and emotional needs. His legacy of service and community involvement inspired Rudy to create this charity, which also aims to support ALS patients in Western New York.
The “I Bleed Buffalo” merchandise, available at ibleedbuffalo.com, includes memorabilia and t-shirts that celebrate Buffalo’s spirit and support ALS sufferers. Each purchase directly contributes to aiding those affected by this devastating disease.
Rudy Pikuzinski, renowned as Buffalo Blizzard’s all-time leading scorer, has been deeply involved in the local soccer community alongside his son, Rudy III. Together, they have coached the Buffalo Invaders, achieving national recognition by ranking as high as #3 in the United States, the highest ever for a team from Western New York.
