(WNY News Now) – In an effort to help our furry friends find their fur-ever home, WNY News Now has partnered with the Chautauqua County Humane Society in a segment we like to call Pet of The Week. This week’s pet of the week is Lucy.

“Hi, Lee. Thanks for having us on Western New York News. Now, we have our resident, Ballerina and Kitty Lucy here. She is just over a year old and she is such a loving gal. She’s so sweet. I was just spending some time patting her. She is up for adoption. She was recently spayed and she is up to date on her vaccinations and has a microchip. So she is ready to go home with anyone who might want to come meet her.”

“She does get along with other kitties. She is in here in the with a handful of other cats. So if you’re wondering about that, if you have dogs, you’ll have to talk to our adoption team and they will let you know if that might work with dogs or how to do that proper introduction. So find out more about her CHQhumane.org. Her name is Lucy. Perfect for Jamestown, right? Because we all love Lucy and you can stop in today to the Chautauqua County Humane Society 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown. We are open from 1 to 5:30 today and from 11 to 3 tomorrow. And this girl is enjoying bath time. Thank you, Lee.”
