Jamestown, NY – On May 26, 2024, at approximately 12:59 PM, Jamestown police officers responded to a call regarding an unwanted person at an eastside residence. The individual, identified as 39-year-old Brandon T. Jimerson of Jamestown, was reported to have violated a court order of protection. Jimerson allegedly threatened to kill the victim and broke a window at the victim’s residence.
Before police arrived, Jimerson fled the scene but was located shortly after. When officers attempted to apprehend him, Jimerson resisted arrest and struck an officer in the face with a closed fist. Officers then tased Jimerson and successfully took him into custody. The officer sustained facial bruising but did not require medical treatment.
Jimerson was transported to Jamestown City Jail and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. He faces multiple charges, including Criminal Contempt 1st, Criminal Mischief 4th, Resisting Arrest, Harassment 2nd, and Assault 2nd (Police Officer).
