(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, N.Y. – Experience a day of enchantment at Audubon Community Nature Center’s Dragons and Fairies Festival on June 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Get ready for a magical day of fun and fantasy at the Dragons and Fairies Festival hosted by Audubon Community Nature Center (ACNC). This enchanting event promises a host of delightful activities for all ages on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
From fairy tale story times to live music, the festival transforms the Audubon grounds into a world of wonder. Children and adults alike can enjoy kid-safe archery, create wizard staffs, and search for unicorns. Horse-drawn carriage rides, drum circles, and a wishing tree add to the fantastical experience.
Festival-goers are encouraged to don their favorite costumes and immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere. Local band Sixpence, known for their Celtic roots, will provide live music, adding a melodic touch to the festivities.
Artisan Acres will feature demonstrations of traditional crafts such as glassblowing, blacksmithing, pottery making, and weaving. Visitors can purchase handmade items, supporting local artisans.
Food lovers will be treated to a variety of options from vendors including Tabouli Street Eatz, 3 C’s Catering, and Gelati’s Italian Ice.
Parking is free, and admission prices are $12 for adults, $9 for Nature Center members and children aged 3-15, and free for children 2 and under. Some activities may have additional costs, so bringing cash is recommended.
