A tense situation unfolded on 31 Commercial St, Gowanda NY, as law enforcement responded to reports of a male wielding a firearm, culminating in the arrest of Joseph D. Sein Colon, 37, on charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
On June 8, 2024, deputies rushed to the scene on Commercial St and Torrance Pl, following reports of an individual displaying a firearm. Upon reaching the location and conducting a thorough investigation, law enforcement swiftly apprehended Joseph D. Sein Colon, a 37-year-old resident of Gowanda.
Sein Colon faced immediate charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Following his apprehension, Sein Colon was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, where he was processed and subsequently released on a court appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Persia Town Court in July to address the charges brought against him.
