The Allegany County Democrats showed their support of the community by contributing essential supplies to Fillmore and Centerville food pantries.
Belmont, NY – Demonstrating their commitment to community welfare, the Allegany County Democrats recently gathered in Centerville, bringing with them an array of non-perishable food and personal care items. These donations were generously given to the Fillmore Community Food Pantry and the Town of Centerville Food Pantry, reflecting the Democratic Committee’s guiding principle: “Serving our Community.”
“The Pantry is a vital mission in our community,” stated Sharon Smith, Coordinator for the Fillmore Community Food Pantry. “allowing us to serve local families with dignity and respect.” The Fillmore Community Food Pantry, located at 25 Minard St., operates on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. For more details, call 585-567-2293.
Barbara Covert, Centerville Town Clerk, expressed gratitude for the support, noting, “We keep a box out front and replenish it as needed.” The Centerville Food Pantry is situated at 8902 County Road 3 (Highway Barns). For further information, call 585-567-8424.
In addition to their charitable efforts, the Democrats are hosting the next “Coffee with Democrats” event on Saturday, July 20th, coinciding with Wellsville’s Main Street Festival. This gathering will take place at the committee’s Election Headquarters, located at 84 North Main St. in Wellsville.
