Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb Reports Early Morning DUI Incident
On June 16, 2024, at approximately 1:36 AM, a traffic stop was initiated at 388 Center St, Salamanca, NY, for a suspicious vehicle. Upon contacting the driver, identified as 24-year-old Zachary Bieber of Cattaraugus, NY, a driving while intoxicated (DWI) investigation ensued.
Following standard procedures and based on observations during the stop, officers conducted a thorough DWI investigation. The results led to the arrest of Zachary Bieber for driving while intoxicated. Bieber was processed and subsequently released with appearance tickets to be addressed in the City of Salamanca Court.
