(WNY News Now) – Sheridan, NY – Authorities in Sheridan responded swiftly to a missing child report, culminating in the safe recovery of the 11-year-old, but not without legal implications for a local woman.
On June 26, 2024, law enforcement agencies, including Sheriff deputies and State Police, mobilized to a Sheridan residence following reports of a missing 11-year-old child. After an intensive search effort, the child was located unharmed. However, the incident led to legal action against Ashley Jo Carlson, aged 36, who was issued an Appearance Ticket and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
