(WNY News Now) – North Harmony – On June 28, 2024, around midnight, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a routine traffic stop on Route 394 in North Harmony, NY. The stop, initiated for an observed infraction, led to the discovery of a weapon in the vehicle.

The driver, identified as Telly Ortiz Jr., a 27-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY, was found to be in possession of a weapon. Ortiz was arrested on the scene for criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. After being processed, Ortiz was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of North Harmony Court at a later date.
