(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – The Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will host a brunch on Tuesday, July 9, for people who are caregivers to those living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

The Caregiver Brunch will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. at The Chautauqua Center, located at 107 Institute St., Suite 201, in Jamestown. Representatives from the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging will be in attendance.

In addition to refreshments, Julie Whitbeck-Lewinski of Care Patrol of Erie and the Southern Tier will discuss the importance of self-care for caregivers. Participants can also learn more about the many free resources offered by the Alzheimer’s Association, including support groups, education classes, virtual programs and care consultations.
