(WNY News Now) – Franklinville – Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb reports the arrest of Brandon M. Davis, 24, from Yorkshire, NY, following a larceny investigation. On June 30, 2024, at 7:19 PM, Davis was apprehended at 39 Pine St, Franklinville, NY, for stealing $600 and providing a false written statement.
The investigation revealed that on June 28, 2024, Davis stole $600 from another individual and subsequently gave a false statement to the police regarding the incident. Davis was charged with Petit Larceny (Penal Law 155.25) and Making a Punishable False Written Statement (Penal Law 210.45).
After his arrest, Davis was processed and arraigned in Yorkshire Town Court. He was released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, Davis is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
