(WNY News Now) – Olean – A routine check by Olean Police culminates in the arrest of a Franklinville man on a probation violation warrant.
On July 8, 2024, at 12:00 PM, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of 22-year-old Ryan A. Olson of Franklinville, NY. Olson was detained by the Olean Police Department following a Child Protective Services (CPS) visit and subsequently handed over to the Sheriff’s Office.
Olson was taken into custody for a Violation of Probation Warrant issued by the Cattaraugus County Court. He has been transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he will remain pending future court hearings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
