(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A domestic dispute on the north side of Jamestown led to the arrest of a local resident on multiple charges.
On July 16, 2024, at approximately 4:03 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a report of an alleged domestic dispute on the city’s north side. Upon arrival, officers identified 22-year-old Nylix J. Thomas as the alleged subject involved.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Thomas had an active arrest warrant for Harassment in the Second Degree issued by the Jamestown Police Department. When officers informed Thomas of his arrest, he fled into his residence. However, officers managed to apprehend him and transport him to the city jail without further incident.
Thomas now faces charges for Resisting Arrest, in addition to the existing warrant for Harassment in the Second Degree. He is currently held pending arraignment at the Jamestown City Court.
