(WNY News Now) – Gamestop, located at 279 E. Fairmount Ave. in Lakewood has announced that the location will be permanently closing this Saturday, July 20th.
Gamestop will be shuttering its doors at its Lakewood location in the plaza. This follows the closing of the Gamestop located within the Chautauqua Mall years ago.
WNY News Now reached out to Gamestop for comment, and while one employee mentioned financial viability as a reason for closing, we have yet to receive an official comment from management. We will provide updates to this story as they become available.
