(WNY News Now) – Allegany – A Portville man, Justin T. Hellmer, 36, faces charges of Petit Larceny following an incident at Walmart in Allegany, NY.
Justin T. Hellmer was apprehended by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office on July 15, 2024, at approximately 12:30 PM. He was reportedly caught attempting to leave Walmart on Plaza Dr with unpaid items. The arrest followed an investigation into the incident. Hellmer was subsequently released on an appearance ticket and is slated for arraignment in the near future. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
