(WNY News Now) – In a conclusion to last summer’s fatal hit-and-run on Klem Road, a Webster man has been sentenced for the death of a local bicyclist.

Ryan Laduca, a 36-year-old Webster resident, was sentenced to 1.5 to 4 years in prison for his involvement in a hit-and-run crash that resulted in the death of 57-year-old Pamela Rubenstein. The incident occurred on August 23 when Rubenstein was struck by a car while riding her bike down Klem Road.

Laduca was arrested on December 28 and subsequently indicted on charges of leaving the scene of an accident that led to a fatality and tampering with physical evidence. He later pleaded guilty to both charges. The court has ordered that Laduca’s sentences will run concurrently, making him eligible for parole after serving a year and a half.
