(WNY News Now) – Sinclairville – On July 23rd, 2024, at approximately 9:58 AM, the Sinclairville Fire Department, supported by several mutual aid fire departments, responded to a residential structure fire on East Ave in the Village of Sinclairville.

The blaze, which engulfed the residence, was swiftly brought under control by the combined efforts of the firefighting teams. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

Following the extinguishment of the fire, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team arrived on the scene to conduct a thorough origin and cause investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that the fire was incendiary in nature, suggesting possible foul play.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities meticulously gathering evidence and seeking any information that might lead to identifying those responsible. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to local law enforcement.
