(WNY News Now) – BUFFALO, NY — The Summer Concert Series continues this Thursday at Buffalo Central Terminal! On July 25, enjoy local musician DP on Drums performing rhythm and blues. The event also features tributes to Marvin Gaye and Al Green.

“Buffalo has a rich history of talented musicians in the jazz and R&B scenes,” said Annie O’Neil-White, vice chair  of the Central Terminal Restoration Corp.’s (CTRC) Board of Directors and First Line Risk Officer for Enterprise  Platforms at M&T Bank. “A great many musicians were born here, trained here, and performed here, before  going out to change American music forever such as Rick James, Dodo Green, Grover Washington Jr. and Brian  McKnight.”

“As presenting sponsor of the 2024 Summer Concert Series, M&T is honored to support our longtime partner,  the Central Terminal, in our collective work to strengthen downtown Buffalo and champion the arts, culture, and community,” said O’Neil-White.
